Saint John’s is committed to ensuring our excellent Catholic education remains affordable and accessible to all families. We offer aid from three programs: School Choice Scholarships, commonly called vouchers, Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) Grants, and direct parish aid. To apply for any source of aid, a family submits their most recent tax return to the school and our staff completes the rest of the application on your behalf.

Families qualify for School Choice Scholarships based on income and other factors set by the State of Indiana, and other state guidelines exist for awarding SGO grants. Parish aid is typically used to support any children who may be ineligible based on the state guidelines to receive a voucher or SGO grant. We also offer SCRIP, a way to buy gift cards for common retailers including food, gas, etc., at face value, while earning a credit for future years’ tuition. Please call and ask to speak with our Advancement Director, Mrs. Sandy Weikel, at 260-749-9903, for more information on any of these programs—we are here to help!. Also, please read below for more information on tuition and a more thorough description of what these sources of aid are and how they work.

As a parish school, our parish subsidizes the cost of tuition. Our actual cost to educate one child for 2018-2019 was approximately $6,275. We charge separate tuition structures for Pre-K and K-8. For K-8, we charge a lower rate for active parishioners who attend mass and contribute to our parish, as well as build in a multi-child discount with lower rates for 2nd or 3rd children, etc. We then offer a non-parishioner rate and welcome those of all faiths! Any/all aid would reduce or zero out the rates shown below:
